April 17, 2013 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 <br /> p.m., April 17, 2013 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall, <br /> Council President Moore presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Stephanson and Council Members Roberts, Moore, Murphy, Gipson, <br /> Bader, Stonecipher and Affholter were present. <br /> Council Member Moore held a moment of silence in honor of all those <br /> impacted by the bombing in Boston on Monday. <br /> Jordan Mielbrect, Scout Troop 91, led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the April 10, 2013 Everett City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. Council Members Gipson and Bader abstained from <br /> the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> The Mayor had no comments. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Murphy stated that he attended Patty Pote's Exploring <br /> Everett class at Port Gardner School last week. He introduced Ms. Pote <br /> and her students who were in attendance at the city council meeting. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher advised that she will not be attending next <br /> week's city council meeting due to a business engagement. <br /> Council Member Roberts thanked the employees of the Everett Animal <br /> Shelter for finding and caring for his aging beagle who had wandered <br /> away from home. <br /> Council Member Bader reported on his attendance at the monthly Library <br /> Board Trustee's meeting last evening. He announced that this is National <br /> Library Week. <br /> 110 <br />
