PROCLAMATION <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett Elks Lodge # 479 is an integral part <br /> of our community; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett Elks Lodge #479 has set aside May <br /> 6, 2004, to honor Everett's Junior Citizens for scholastic, sporting <br /> and scouting achievements during 2003-2004; and, <br /> WHEREAS, our youth benefit from guidance, inspiration and <br /> encouragement to develop those qualities of character essential to <br /> success as individuals; and, <br /> WHEREAS, to achieve this worthy objective, Everett Elks continue <br /> to demonstrate their partnership with the youth of our City and their <br /> sincere willingness to help prepare youth in every way for the <br /> responsibilities and opportunities of adult citizenship in our <br /> community, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, I, Ray Stephanson, Mayor of the City of <br /> Everett, do hereby proclaim May 6, 2004, as <br /> EVERETT ELKS' YOUTH RECOGNITION DAY <br /> in the City of Everett. <br /> Signed this 5th day of May 2004. <br /> Mayor Ray Stephanson <br />
