WEDNESDAY, MAY 19, 2004 <br /> CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br /> Roll Call <br /> Pledge of Allegiance <br /> Approval of Minutes: May 12, 2004 <br /> Mayor's Comments — Budget Update <br /> Council <br /> City Attorney <br /> Citizen Comments <br /> CONSENT ITEMS (to be considered individually) <br /> (1) Adopt Resolution # authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the amount <br /> of $ 634,683.49 for the period of May 1, 2004 through May 7, 2004 <br /> (2) Adopt Resolution # authorizing payroll claims against the City of Everett in the <br /> amount of $ 2,734,466.59 for the period ending May 1, 2004 <br /> (3) To approve the closure of Wetmore, Pacific to 32nd Street, for a Community Street Fair <br /> sponsored by the First Baptist Church on June 5, 2004, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. <br /> (4) To approve the closure of Colby, Pacific to Everett Avenue; Hewitt, Rucker to <br /> Broadway; Wetmore, Wall to Hewitt; Hoyt, Pacific to Wall; Wall, Hoyt to Wetmore; <br /> and California, Hoyt to Wetmore, for a Controlled Cruise sponsored by the Flying Pig <br /> Brewing Co. on May 30, 2004, May 29, 2005, and May 28, 2006, 12 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. <br /> with the conditions that a minimum, 20-foot wide fire lane be maintained on each <br /> street subject to field inspection, that 3 off-duty Police officers be present during the <br /> event to assist in maintaining order, and that the intersection of Wetmore and Hewitt <br /> be manned by two safety flaggers at all times. <br /> (5) Authorize Call for Bid for the construction of the Northend Basement Flood Reduction <br /> "F" Project <br /> ACTION ITEMS (to be considered individually) <br /> (6) Award Bid 2004-683 for Jetty Island Ferry Service to Argosy LP doing business as <br /> Argosy Cruises, the lowest responsive bidder, at their unit prices bid for an estimated <br /> 2004 season total of 64,995.00 <br /> (7) Award Bid 2004-676 to Aspen Environmental, Ltd., the lowest responsive bidder, at <br /> their unit prices bid for an estimated annual total of $114,681.04 including Washington <br /> State Sales Tax <br /> (8) Award Bid 2004-686 for an Annual Supply of Water Treatment Chemicals to the lowest <br /> responsive bidders at their unit bid prices as designated <br /> AGENDA CONTINUED ON BACK OF THIS PAGE <br />
