WEDNESDAY, MAY 26, 2004 <br /> CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br /> Roll Call <br /> Pledge of Allegiance <br /> Approval of Minutes: May 19, 2004 <br /> Mayor's Comments — Introduction of Everett Fire Fighters Nick Adsero and John <br /> Finkelnburg <br /> Council <br /> City Attorney <br /> Citizen Comments <br /> CONSENT ITEMS (to be considered individually) <br /> (1) Adopt Resolution # authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the amount of <br /> $ 1,369,272.27 for the period of May 8, 2004 through May 14, 2004 <br /> (2) To approve the closure of Colby Avenue, Everett to Pacific, from September 10, 2004 7 <br /> p.m. to September 12, 8 p.m. for the "Pop 'N' Arts Festival sponsored by the Snohomish <br /> Artist Guild, subject to certain conditions <br /> (3) Accept the 112th Street, Evergreen Way to Airport Road Project as complete and Authorize <br /> the Mayor to sign the Certificate of Completion releasing retainage in the amount of <br /> $86,152.69 <br /> ACTION ITEMS (to be considered individually) <br /> (4) Authorize the Mayor to sign Letter of Intent to withdraw from the Snohomish County <br /> Department of Emergency Management <br /> (5) Authorize the Mayor or his designee to sign the Snohomish County Emergency Radio <br /> System (SERS) Communications Antenna Site License on behalf of the City of Everett <br /> (6) Authorize the Mayor to sign a Professional Services Agreement with Zipper Zeeman <br /> Associates, Inc. for geotechnical services for the Water Transmission Line No. 2, Phase 8-A <br /> Project for $15,000.00 <br /> PUBLIC HEARING: <br /> (7) Approve the Vacation of a portion of 39th Street, East of Smith Avenue and West of <br /> Burlington Northern Railway, and direct staff to draft an ordinance subject to the conditions <br /> contained in the staff report <br /> Executive Session <br /> Adjourn <br /> "Everett City Council meetings are videotaped for rebroadcast on government-access <br /> cable Channel 21 at 12:00 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday. 7:00 p.m. Thursday <br /> and Friday, 10:00 a.m. Saturday and 6:00 p.m. Sunday." <br /> "The City of Everett does not discriminate on the basis of disability in the admission or <br /> access to, or treatment in, its programs or activities.
