WEDNESDAY, JUNE 2, 2004 CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS Roll Call Pledge of Allegiance Approval of Minutes: May 26, 2004 Mayor's Comments Council City Attorney Citizen Comments CONSENT ITEMS (to be considered individually) (1) Adopt Resolution # authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the amount of $972,125.66 for the period of May 15, 2004 through May 21, 2004 (2) Adopt Resolution # authorizing payroll claims against the City of Everett in the amount of $2,599,080.18 for the period ending May 15, 2004 ACTION ITEMS (to be considered individually) (3) To approve the closure of Colby Avenue, Hewitt to Pacific, Wetmore Avenue, Hewitt to Pacific and Wall Street from Hoyt to Wetmore, from September 10, 2004 7 p.m. to September 12, 8 p.m. for the "Pop 'N' Arts Festival sponsored by the Snohomish Artist Guild, subject to certain conditions (4) Authorize the Mayor to sign an Amendment with URS Corporation for predesign engineering services for the Water Transmission Pipelines River and Slough Crossings Project in the amount of $83,125 (5) Authorize the Mayor to sign Change Order #1 for the 2003 Signal Improvements Project with Transtech Electric, Inc. in the amount of $ 4,010.24 (6) Accept the 2003 Signal Improvement Project as complete and Authorize the Mayor to sign the Certificate of Completion releasing retainage in the amount of $ 3,529.35 (7) Adopt Resolution # confirming expenses incurred by the City of Everett while performing abatements of violations, and authorizing placement of a lien in the amount of $2181.53 against the property known as 2028 Adams Avenue in the city of Everett, Washington (8) Authorize the Mayor to sign the necessary documents to accept the $7,500 grant award for conducting assessment and facility needs at the Everett Senior Center at no cost to the city AGENDA CONTINUED ON BACK OF THIS PAGE
