The festival occurred with no major problems and received positive media attention. <br /> The Guild applied for a street closure on September 10-12, 2004 for the second annual festival. <br /> Council continued this application previously(May 5, 12, and 26 and June 2). The site map showing the <br /> exact locations of the street closures, the Guild's description of the festival, and the permit conditions will be <br /> submitted to Council as soon as they are completed and finalized. <br /> Major Changes from Last Year: The Guild intends to have live music on stages this year. The Guild <br /> asked for permission to have a beer garden,but was denied pursuant to prior Council policy direction. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): <br /> To approve the closure of certain streets from September 10, 2004 7 p.m. to September 12, 8 p.m. for the <br /> Pop'N'Arts Festival sponsored by the Snohomish Artist Guild, subject to certain conditions. <br /> i0 <br />
