2004 <br /> Budget Adjustments 12 <br /> Tally Sheet <br /> Department Code Rev Exp FB <br /> - GGA-2 Special Projects Amendment-Snoh River Salmon Habitat Restoration/Tulalip Tribe 115A 50,000 50,000 <br /> GGA-2 General Fund Amendment-Snoh River Salmon Habitat Restoration/Tulalip Tribe 009A 50,000 (50,000) <br /> The settlement agreement between the City and the Tulalip Tribes on the 41st Street litigation provides that <br /> after the Tribes withdrew from litigation,the City will put$50,000 into a fund to be used for salmon restoration <br /> on the Snohomish River. The City has received notice that the Tribes have withdrawn. The use of these funds <br /> would occur after consultation between the City and Tribes.The use of these funds is limited for salmon <br /> restoration efforts. If a disagreement as to the use of the$50,000 restoration funds arises,the Tribes and the <br /> City will submit the issue to alternative dispute resolution. The City is required to put the$50,000 into a fund <br /> for salmon restoration on the Snohomish River within 30 days of receiving notice of the Tribes withdrawal from <br /> the litigation. <br /> This money Will be deposited into Special Projects Fund 115,in a separate Subfund/Program.Like all <br /> operating and reserve funds,any amount left at year end must be re-appropriated for use in each future year. <br /> Since this particular amount is set up pursuant to contractual agreement, its renewal is not subject to revision. <br /> The source of funds is the Fund Balance in the General Fund. <br /> Transfer in from General Fund 115 3970061002 50,000 <br /> Increase Professional Expenditures budget 115 5610000410 50,000 <br /> Transfer to Special Projects Fund 009 5000900550 50,000 <br /> Decrease General Fund Ending Fund Balance 009 5980000490 50,000 <br /> Department Code Rev Exp FB <br /> GGA-3 Planning Amendment-Historic Preservation Grant 2003 021A 5,904 <br /> GGA-3 General Fund Amendment-Historic Preservation Grant 2003 002A 5,904 <br /> On October 1,2003, City Council authorized the Mayor to sign an Historic Preservation Grant agreement with <br /> the State of Washington Department of Community Trade and Economic Development Office of Archaeology <br /> and Historic Preservation in the amount of$5,904.
