FRIDAY JUNE 25, 2004 CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS Roll Call Pledge of Allegiance Approval of Minutes: June 16, 2004 Mayor's Comments Council City Attorney Citizen Comments CONSENT ITEMS (to be considered individually) (1) Adopt Resolution # authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the amount of $1,897,843.11 for the period of June 5, 2004, 2004 through June 11, 2004 (2) To approve a rolling street closure beginning and ending at the YMCA, California and Rockefeller, for 5K, 10K, and One Mile Run/Walks sponsored by the Everett Family YMCA on July 4, 2004, 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., with the condition that there be a motorcycle escort to provide safe passage for the runners, and that there be a flagger at each intersection inside the parade route and tow flaggers (one certified) at each major intersection outside the parade route. (3) Accept Forest Park Administration Building Remodel as constructed by Allied Construction Associates, Inc. as complete and begin the retainage release waiting period ACTION ITEMS (to be considered individually) (4) Authorize the Mayor to sign the contract between the City of Everett and the State CTED Economic Development Division to reimburse the City for expenses incurred from April 1, 2004 through June 30, 2004 with regard to the Base Realignment and Closure Commission (BRAC) process (5) Authorize the Mayor or his designee to submit the grant application for the 2004 Local Law Enforcement Block Grant on behalf of the City of Everett (6) Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No. 2 to the Professional Services Agreement with CH2M Hill to extend the completion date for training City Staff to June 30, 2005 AGENDA CONTINUED ON THE BACK OF THIS PAGE
