WEDNESDAY AUGUST 4, 2004 CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS Roll Call Pledge of Allegiance Approval of Minutes: July 28, 2004 Mayor's Comments Council City Attorney Citizen Comments CONSENT ITEMS (to be considered individually) (1) Adopt Resolution # authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the amount of $1,162,309.47 for the period of July 17, 2004, 2004 through July 23, 2004 (2) To approve the closure of Hoyt Avenue between 25th and 26th Streets for Immaculate Conception Parish picnic, August 15, 2004, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with the condition that there is a 20-foot fire lane open through the closure (3) To approve a street closure from 52nd and 2nd to Lowell Park, 45th and 3rd, for a Lowell Days Parade on August 7, 2004, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., sponsored by the Lowell Civic Group (4) To approve the closure of Virginia Avenue, south of California Street to the north side of the alley, for the Second Baptist Ch-rrh picnic to be held August 14, 2004, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. ACTION ITEMS (to be considered individually) (5) Award Bid 2004-704 for an Annual Supply of Asphalt (picked up) as designated (6) Award Bid 2004-705 for an Annual Supply of Concrete Products as designated (7) Award Construction Contract for the 2004 Hot Mix Asphalt Overlay Project to Rinker Materials, of Everett, WA, in the amount of $791,863.40 (8) Authorize the Mayor to sign the Memorandum of Agreement for Intergovernmental Cooperation Between the Central Puget Sound Regional Transit Authority and the City of Everett for the North Everett Transit Center.
