Responses were received as shown on the attached bid <br /> summary. <br /> This bid is for the annual supply contract for concrete products and controlled density fill to do maintenance <br /> and repair projects throughout the year as needed. <br /> Concrete plants do not produce all types of concrete at all times. Staff recommends that both primary and <br /> secondary awards be made so that on the occasions a particular concrete product is not available from the <br /> primary supplier,the City may obtain it from the secondary supplier. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Award Bid 2004-705 for an Annual Supply of Concrete Products as follows: <br /> • Primary award to Rinker Materials West LLC of Everett at their unit prices bid for an estimated annual <br /> total of$116,100.31 including Washington State Sales Tax. <br /> • Secondary award to Concrete Nor'West of Mount Vernon at their unit prices bid. <br /> 16 <br />
