EVERETT CITY COUNCIL PRELIMINARY AGENDA <br /> 6:30 P.M., WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 5, 2005 <br /> CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br /> Roll Call <br /> Pledge of Allegiance <br /> Approval of Minutes: December 29, 2004 <br /> Mayor's Comments <br /> Council <br /> City Attorney <br /> Citizen Comments <br /> CONSENT ITEMS (to be considered individually) <br /> (1) Adopt Resolution # authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the <br /> amount of $2,307,193.20 for the period of December 18, 2004 through <br /> December 24, 2004 <br /> (2) Adopt Resolution # authorizing payroll claims against the City of Everett in <br /> the amount of $2,526,304.68 for the period ending December 11, 2004 <br /> ACTION ITEMS (to be considered individually) <br /> (3) Adopt Resolution # changing the regularly scheduled meetings of the Everett <br /> City Council to hold one night meeting each month beginning at 6:30 p.m. <br /> (4) Authorize the Mayor to sign the necessary documents to apply for 24 months of <br /> continuation grant funding from the United States Department of Justice, Office <br /> on Violence Against Women. The documents include the application for federal <br /> assistance, Memorandum of Understanding with various agencies, and other <br /> documents required as part of the grant application <br /> (5) Authorize the Mayor to accept distribution of equipment from Snohomish County <br /> pursuant to a grant from the Federal Department of Homeland Security's Office <br /> of Domestic Preparedness for the purchase and distribution of equipment to <br /> enhance preparedness to combat terrorism and to execute the documents <br /> necessary to accept such equipment <br /> (6) Authorize the Mayor to sign the Memorandum of Agreement between the Puget <br /> Sound Clean Air Agency and the City of Everett related to the use of ultra low <br /> sulfur diesel fuel <br /> (7) Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No. 2 to the Professional Services <br /> Agreement with Hoban and Associates for landscape maintenance services at <br /> Everett Station <br /> AGENDA CONTINUED ON THE BACK OF THIS PAGE <br />
