That office gives highest priority to historic <br /> property inventories. The City's application to inventory historic industrial and commercial buildings in or <br /> near downtown was reviewed and supported by the Historical Commission, and the City has been awarded a <br /> 2005 grant in the amount of$3,992 for this work. The funds will be used to hire a professional consultant <br /> to complete the inventory. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign the 2005 historic preservation grant agreement with the state DCTED. <br /> LG <br />
