6 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending and closing the special construction fund entitled <br /> "South Precinct Police Station", Fund 342, Program 001, as established by <br /> Ordinance No. 2451-00 and amended by Ordinance No. 2611-02. <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has recognized the need for a south precinct police station; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett has purchased a building located at 1121 SE Everett Mall Way <br /> to accommodate a south precinct police station; and <br /> WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2451-00 was established to fund the construction of the South <br /> Precinct Police Station; and <br /> WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2611-02 was established to provide additional funding necessary <br /> to complete the construction of the South Precinct Police Station and, <br /> WHEREAS, with the additional funding provided by this Ordinance, the purpose of the fund <br /> has been accomplished; and <br /> WHEREAS, there are neither outstanding obligations of the fund to be paid nor uncollected <br /> revenues to be received; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: Section 3 of Ordinance No. 2611-02, which reads as follows: <br /> The estimated cost of the project is $4,250,000.00 including costs related to design, <br /> construction, equipment, and contract administration. <br /> Be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> The estimated cost of the project is $4,252,876.28 including costs related to design, <br /> construction, equipment, and contract administration. <br /> Section 2: Section 4 of Ordinance No. 2611-02, which reads as follows: <br /> The sum of $4,250,000 is hereby appropriated to Fund 342, "City Facilities Construction Fund" <br /> Program 001 "South Precinct Police Station". <br /> it <br />
