The C-1 (General Commercial)zoned properties will be rezoned to B-3 <br /> (Central Business District). The allowable building height in the area now zoned C-1 would be increased from <br /> 80 feet to 150 feet in the B-3 zone. <br /> The Planning Commission held a public workshop on October 19, 2004, and discussed the matter as a non-agenda <br /> item on November 16, 2004. It held a public hearing on March 8, 2005, at which it recommended approval of the <br /> rezone. The minutes of the Commission's discussions at those meetings is attached. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Adopt Ordinance rezoning the east side of <br /> Rucker Avenue between Everett Avenue and Pacific Avenue. <br />
