The ordinance being proposed amends <br /> hotel and motel licensing regulations in an effort to combat the illegal activity and nuisances associated with <br /> problem hotels and motels. The proposed ordinance also clarifies the process for hearings and appeals of <br /> hotel and motel license suspensions and revocations under the City License Code. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Adopt an Ordinance Amending the City's <br /> License Code for the regulation of Hotels and Motels, Amending Chapter 25 of Ordinance No. 295-74 as <br /> amended (EMC 5.100). <br /> 18 <br />
