6 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project entitled, <br /> "36th Street Railroad Crossing Closure,"Fund 303, Program 071, to <br /> accumulate all costs for the improvement. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett is committed to a planned traffic and safety improvement <br /> program; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett has identified the need and received funds for the closure of the <br /> 36th Street railroad crossing; and <br /> NOW,THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: <br /> A special improvement project is hereby established as Fund 303, Program 071, entitled "36th <br /> Street Railroad Crossing Closure," to accumulate all costs for the improvement. <br /> Section 2: <br /> Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund 303, <br /> Program 071, for the improvement project. <br /> Section 3: <br /> Authorization is hereby granted for the "Engineering/Public Services Director," under direction <br /> of the Mayor, to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and doing all <br /> things to accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. <br /> Section 4: <br /> The sum of$52,000.00 is hereby appropriated to Fund 303, Program 071, "36th Street Railroad <br /> Crossing Closure," as follows: <br /> A. Estimated Project Costs <br /> Design $ 4,500.00 <br /> Construction 47,500.00 <br /> Total Estimated Cost $52,000.00 <br /> 24 <br />
