DBA Evergreen On-Site have evaluated the physical and chemical properties <br /> of the Nutrifibre and developed a topsoil product that has significant quantities of essential plant nutrients. <br /> Reuse of the Nutrifibre in a topsoil product will improve soil quality and enhance plant growth. <br /> This agreement allows reimbursement to Series Seven Inc. DBA Evergreen On-Site a net of$13.00/cuyd <br /> (haul cost of$14.00/cuyd less $1.00/cuyd for the value of the material). <br /> The City and Series Seven Inc. DBA Evergreen On-Site are committed to environmentally sound recycling <br /> practices and environmental stewardship. This Agreement will benefit both parties by improving the nutrient <br /> quality of topsoil products and the timely removal of Nutrifibre from the Riverside site. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign the Residuals Hauling and Sales Agreement allowing the Everett Public Works <br /> to sell our stockpiled residuals for use as a beneficial soil amendment product. <br /> 6 ? <br />
