Expenditure Required $ -0- Account Number(s): Amount Budgeted $ -0- Additional Required $ -0- DETAILED SUMMARY STATEMENT: The Silver Lake, Everett Kiwanis Chapter will hold the Pacific Northwest BBQ Championship on Memorial Day in conjunction with the Cruzin' on Colby Car Show Event. The Kiwanis would like to use the Wall Street Building parking lot, as they did last year. The City granted the Kiwanis chapter permission to hold the Championship in the parking lot last year. No problems were reported. The proposed license is substantially similar to last year's license. The proposed license authorizes Kiwanis to use the parking lot, requires Kiwanis to have certain insurance, and requires Kiwanis to clean up the parking lot when finished. The Kiwanis would use the parking lot from 6 p.m., Sunday, May 29, 2005 to 6 p.m. on Monday (Memorial Day holiday), May 30, 2005. RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Approve the Special Event Application by the Silver Lake, Everett Kiwanis Chapter to hold the Pacific Northwest BBQ Championship from 6 p.m. May 29, 2005 to 6 p.m. May 30, 2005 in conjunction with the Cruzin' on Colby Special Event and Authorize the Mayor to Execute a License for use of the Wall St. Building Parking Lot 4
