Expenditure Required $ -0- Account Number(s): Amount Budgeted $ -0- Additional Required $ -0- DETAILED SUMMARY STATEMENT: This resolution establishes golf green fees as outlined effective July 1, 2005. Resolution No. 5474 established golf green fees for the City's two municipal golf courses. The first step to restructure public golf in Everett is to increase the volume of rounds played.This in conjunction with other steps of our strategic plan should enhance the revenue capacity for both golf courses. A new 2005 comprehensive survey of 17 similar area golf courses indicates that Legion Memorial and Walter E.Hall prices are in the high end price range for the level of experience being provided. Rate restructuring will place us in a more competitive price range and should build golfer loyalty and provide consistent awareness of golf rates. RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): City Council approve the Resolution adopting all fees and rate structure for the City of Everett municipal golf courses. �8
