Tliis was for tlic additional plumbing that caas
required by tlis office for a second L-oilet raon. The rough-in uorl:
was approved at that time.
At that timc the clothes washers had uot Ueen completely removed.
Someone other than Byers was removing these.
On August 14, 1973, Byers again called ior a final inspection on his
worlc. It cvas found to be acceptable with exception of an open fitting
where a laundry tuU was to Ue placed. Byers caas inatructed to cap
this opening.
I visited ehe Uuilding later and find that thcre is still worlc to be
done to correct tlie e:cposed plumUing Uehind the washcrs. There are
tcao (2) traps diat have Ueen Urol:en off and another Chree (3) oper.i:;,::
tliat have no traps. Also someone, apparantly inexperienced, has in-
stalled a new standpipc Uchind one of the washcrs and did not use a
trap. Thcre are other openings, I bclicve where estracLors were
previously connected, that have not Ueen capped. It appears to me
that possiUly thc Cennant has Ucen aCempting to do his ocan plumUing.
Undcr ehc provisions ot Ordinancc NamUer 132-71, diis worl: musL Uc
done by a licensed plumUing contractor.
Thc gas piping Co L'hc drycrs has becn, I Uclieve, c m-rect'ed, locavcr
Lhcy arc noC ycL- vcuCed nor have Chcy bcal approved Lor use.
Yours trul;r
Uean Pittman
Inspector of P1umUing S Setacrs
.
•
