I understand that you are attempting to clear out your open permita, but the fact that a corredion was ever written is appalliny�. It is also a fact that we w�ere never made owaro of a correction notioe, though the building was given iYs final Certificate of Oxupancy. This issue is about a "break-glass rod"that is induded on this particular model of manual flre alartn pull station. The rod in qu�stion is provided ag a visual c�M'irmation that the device has beery operatad in the past, and is not a funcGonal or vital portion of the device. I�sertion af thia rod may be by anyone using an ordinary screwdriver without risk of tripping the alertn. My biggest issue is the fact that the electrical inspector wants to re-inspect for something that has no safety or electrical issues associated with it. I have endosed a glass rod with the copy of this letter for the tenant, General Nu:rition. If your department feels the need to dispatch a City employee to verify the cosmetic completion of this device, then feel free to do so by coordinating with the tenant or buiiding owner.
