The Uniform Building Code provides that all <br /> permits expire by limitation if the work authorized by the permit is suspended or abandoned at <br /> any time after work i, commenced for a period of 180 days. If you wish to prevent the permit <br /> from expiring without documentation of ccmpletion, you may: <br /> I) Request an inspection of work that has occurred, to document continuing progress, <br /> or 2) Request final inspection if the work is completed. <br /> Please respond within 10 days.
