Provide landscaping per Ihe revised landscaped plan dated November 19, 2002. <br /> The Planning Director approved the landscape modification based on the following: <br /> Subsection 35.070.A. oP the City of Everett Land Use Code givcs the Planning Director, using <br /> Review Process I, the authority to modify the required landscaping. The subjec[ property is located <br /> at 5107 Evergreen Way in the B-2, Community Business, zone. Category B landscape standards <br /> apply. Category B landscaping requires a minimum ten foot wide landscaped strip with Type III <br /> landscaping along all street frontages except far driveways. A minimum five foot wide landscaped <br /> strip is required along all interior property lines with Type III landscaping. Type III landscaping <br /> consists of a minimum of 1 six foot high tree for every 30 feet of length and a minimum of 5 two foot <br /> high shrubs for every 100 square feet, with 90% groundcover within 3 years. <br /> The applicant proposes to provide a 13-foot wide landscaped strip along Evergreen Way with ar. <br /> additional tree und to provide four additional trees along the interior property line next to the parking <br /> lot. The trees �vill be planted at approximately one for every 20 feet.
