The inside of every panoram Z
station must be visible from the entrance to the panoram premise. The entranee to -+ m
the panoram premise is the central aisle which runs from the reer of the bookstore A
portion of the straerure directly to the rear exit of the store. As shown on your
plans, the inside of every panoram station is not visible from the described central n
aisle. Therefore, your plans must be redrawn to meet this requirement and z
resubmitted. _
.,

The three rooms entitled "Film Viewing Rooms" are now of sufficient size that =
they fall outside the purview of the panoram ordinance.
..
c
For informational purpcses only, it is my understanding that the Citizens Advisory r^
Committee which was established to review the existing panoram ordinance may be
considering recommending to City Council next month that certain amendments be
made to the panoram ordinance including that portion of the ordinance whieh
requires that "the inside of every panoram statian must be visible from the
entranee to the premises:' Only time will tell what the actual recommendations
turn out to be or what action Council actually takes. But since you will be
expected to ultimately comply with any.changes to the ordinance, I felt that it uas
ap ropriate to put you on notice tnat there may be changes made in the near
fuure.
