This is Piqeon Creek #1, which a:t You <br />may know, has Yeceived national and international recoqnit:�on <br />as a successful Adopt - A Stream program. Students, parents, <br />and t.eachers from Jackson School have worked very hard to <br />rehabilitate this stream ior the raturn and spawning o� Coho <br />Salmon. The project has been in effect since 1984. <br />'� made of the Uox-culvert where Pigeon <br />-� In part 1), mention i� <br />N; o,� Creek #1 makes its appearance before qoing under Everqreen <br />b M�� Way. Its ra-appears hehind the Sizzler, and flows naturallY <br />, for about a mile befor�a it comes to the new Retention-Detentien <br />„�� �� Pond system at Black Forest Lane. A storm drain is located o7 <br />Yeen WaY quite near the Alderwood Pump Station. This <br />Everq <br />storm dYain empties into Piqeon Creek. There also appears to <br />.�-- <br />be wat_er clraininq from the pump station, � nto the box culverf`�- <br />�and thus into Piqe�'n c.''iepk� Now, E�e are my questions:O wi11 <br />Pigaon Craek be getting more water from the present pump <br />station, or £rom the one to be built?
