The problem Is caused by a downstream understz�d c.ilvert <br />that backs stormwater runoff onto your site. Apparently the prob;em [s eo <br />severe that at times water has ponded deep enough to cause flow aaoss <br />13erkehire Drive and onto Moon Dragon Restaurant property. <br />Prel[minary drainage pian� submltted by Reld, Mtddleton and Associates havc not <br />nddressed this problem. Also, these plarts proposed a detention system that ltes <br />partially on the property Immedlately south (6311 Evergreen Way). <br />It is recammended that your drainage plan be revised to minlmize the potential <br />for flooding damage to your own property as well as youc neighbora. <br />The revla[ons could be In the form of a much larger detention system, off-site <br />dralnage improvemr.nts, or alterations in your building design. Tnese detalls can <br />be worked out with your Engineer. <br />Plea�e be advised that the City wlll contact the property owner at 6311 <br />Evergreen Way and advise him or her of the problem.
