As we discussed, it is agreed that if three test core samples at the easi: edge in the shoulder swale area show that the area is constructed to allow a total. asphalt depth of four inches over eleven inches of standard sub- surfacing, then it �aill not be necessary to remove the easterly approximately tsvo feet of shoulder section. Because of the necessity to maintain the EvergreeiiS9ay street section grade and to provide a structure that will support the traffic, it may be necessary to remove all or some portion of easterly section and it will be necessary to remove the remaininq existing shoulder material. If it is agreeable to yoc, a eity inspector will be available to your con- tractor for determining the condition of the shoulder section rather tlian having you obtain test core samples. The three inlets need to be adjusted to the new street grade. However, it is agreed that only tcao of the three inlets (extreme north and extreme south) are required to be connected to new curb inlets. It is especially pleasing to us that you have elected to go first class by installing exposed aggregate concrete sidewalk section. 2 have enclosed for your convenience, a Right-of-Way Use Permit.
