Assembly means door jamb and hardo-�are <br />and all shall bear a U.L. label or approved equa.l as identified by Section <br />4306(c). <br />3. Provide an automatic closer as required by Section 4306(b) for <br />all L'2 hour fire doors. <br />4. Provide toilet room facilities for the handicapped as required by <br />Section 1711(b) and 1711(c) as follows: <br />Section 1711(b) Toilet facilities: Toilet facilities and t•�ater <br />closet compartments shall have a clear and unobstructed access of not less <br />than 32 inches and a clear space, unobstructed by door s��iing, grab bars and, <br />similar items of not less than 32 inches shall be provided in front of the <br />toilet stool. Grab bars shall be provided on ttvo sides or one side and the <br />back of each toilet compartment. <br />EXCEPTIOfJS: 1. In Group I and J Occupancies the 4�ater closet com- <br />partments may be 30 inciies in width and may have a clear space in front of <br />the toilet stool of not less than 24 inches. Grab bars need not be provided <br />in such occupancies nor in Group H Occupancy apartment houses. <br />2. 4lhere more than one toilet compartment is provided, only one <br />such compartment need comply within each toilet room for each sex. All <br />others need not have grab bars and clearances may be as specified in Ex- <br />ception No.l. <br />Section 1711(c) Toilet Rooin Facilities: In other than Groups I, <br />J and H apartment house Occupancies, toi7et rooin facilities shall be as fol- <br />lows: <br />1. Except for the projection of bo���ls and aiaste pipin9, a clear <br />unobstructed space 26 inches in viidth, 24 inches in height and 12 inches <br />in depth shall be provided under at least one lavatory. <br />2. lJhere mirrors are provided, at least one shall be installed <br />so that the bottom of the mirror is within 40 inches of the floer. <br />3. Where to�ti�el and disposal fixtures are provided, at least one <br />shall be t�iithin 40 inches of the floor. <br />All construction is subject to field inspections, corrections and <br />final field approval prior tu the building being occupied. <br />An approved set of plans shall be kept at the ,7ob site at all times <br />during construction. <br />The size, type and location of fire extinguishers is to be determined <br />by the City of Everett Fii•e Department. <br />A reply directed to the Duilding Official is required stating compiiance <br />to this plan check letter. - <br />If I may be of further service please do not hesitate to contact me. <br />re� =� <br />.
