Cnrent ite driveway volumes are shown in
Figure 3. All peak hour data was collected within the last ten
montlis by this firm and other consultants.
Truck traffic was about average in the p.m. peak hour.
 Pedestrian volumes were generally light.
Geometric condi.tions, truck, and bus factors are noted in the
appendix as a part f the data input for the capacity
calculations.
Access
Currently, the site is accessed primarily through four
driveways. Three access Evergreen Way and a single driveway
) accesses Madison Street. There is also en existing access to
the north on Evergreen which once served the aforementioned
derelict buildings. It is prCsently unused.
The proposed project will consolidate the three Evergreen Way
accesses to the super.market into a single access. The Madison
i 9 Stree'c access will remain. The north driveway will be utilized
',s for the office building and as an exit way £or delivery trucks.
A Delivery trucks, of which it is expected that 5 will arrive per
day, off peak, will enter the site via Lake Street and a
joint-use acces=_ corridor irom the north. An agreement
' s describing his joint-use access has been appended.
I m 9

+..
!ta
i0i
Transit
Everett and Snhomish County Transit buses operate on all major
3 soutes in the :-.oject's vicinity. Currently, transit service
exists along ':rgreen Way in both directions. Bus stops are
located direc:ly in front of the site. Therefore, in all
likelihoo?; a portion of the patrons oi the ste may use transit
to some de•Jree. Thi, is more true of thew o5fic;e portion of the
site than the supermar}et and restaurant portioci of the site.
3 However, fur the purposes of this report, the trip generation,
assignment and tra.ffic impact analysis will assume that transit
usage is minimal since it's use by the future patrons is
difficult. to predict accuraely.
-4-
jChrislopher Broan Cs Assoeiales
I'" S19 Rainier Avenue ..
