Some businesses own delivery vehicles which may be fueled, washed and maintained on premises. <br />Source Control B,LlPs: SI.10, S1.20, 51.80, 52.00 and S2.?0. <br />Regula�ory Requirements: R/, R2, R3, and R 10. <br />4-1.5 SERVICE <br />4-1.5.1 ANIlY[AL CARE SERVICES <br />SIC 0740,0750 <br />DESCRIPTION: This group includes veterinaries and businesses that provide boarding services for animals such <br />dogs and cats. <br />MATERIALS USED AND WASTES GENERATED: The primary sources of p�llution include animal feces and <br />waste products from animal treatment. <br />Source Contro/ BdIP: Feces and wastes contaminated with jeces shal! be collected on a reguJar basis and stored <br />in a manner that prevents contact with stormwaler. <br />4-1.5.2 COMMERCIAL CAR AND TRUCK WASHES <br />SIC: 7542 <br />DESCRiPTION: Facilities include automatic systems found at individual businesses or at gas stations and 24- <br />hour convenience stores, as well as self-service systems. Some car washing businesses also sell gasoline. <br />MATERIALS USED AND WASTES GENERATED: The main ingredients are water and detergents. Waxes <br />may also be present. Wastewaters are discharged to sanitary sewers, although some washwater may <br />inadvertently enter the stortn drain system. Rollover systems often do not have air drying and cars shed water to <br />the pavement as [hey leave the enclosure. In self-service operations a drain is located inside each car bay, but <br />wash water can spray outside the building.
