RESPONSE TO CONCERN OF STALL LENGTH <br />Everett City Engineer desires stall length �f 18.5' <br />We will have stall length of 17.5 feet. <br />We measured a random sample of cars in the nearby parking lots <br />and fiound every one would fit in 17.5' without overhanging the <br />6.5' sidewalk. <br />We fiound that GM does make some long cars. <br />We found: The Roadmaster station wagon at 18.1' as the <br />longest GM Buick car being sold. The next nearest is the Park <br />Avenue at 17.1' <br />CONCLUSION: <br />..99� of the cars on the road will fit without overhanging <br />the sidewalk. <br />.....The Longest Stations wagons (not all station wagons) would <br />overhang the 6.5' sidewalk by less than 1'. <br />MITIGATION <br />If you desire we would install signs that say: <br />WJD 2/9/94 <br />PULL FORWARD <br />DO NOT OVERHANG SIDEWALK <br />LONG STATION WAGONS <br />PARK ELSEWHERE <br />
