� The proposed action is the issuance of clemolition and buil�ing permits to a11ow the <br />construction of a reigiiborhood shopping cen[er. The.center would consist of two <br />structures: a single story structure with approximately 5,300 square feet of retail <br />space; and a two story structure with approximately 5,000 square feet of retail space on <br />the lower floor and 5,000 square £eet oF office space on the upper floor. The following <br />factors were considered prior to malcing a preliminary decision on this proposal: <br />1. The site is zoned B-2, Coimnunity Shopping Zone, which would allow this use. <br />2. The existing office huilding (King PfcCauley liomes Real Estate Office) and two <br />single family residences fronting east Cady Road must be demolished to allow for <br />construction. <br />3. Access to the Shopping Center is�proposed via both East Cady Road and Evergreen [•Iay. <br />The area to the �,'est is residential.
