The Uniform Building Code provides that all permits expire by <br />limitation if the work authorized by tiie permit is suspended or ..bandoned at any time after <br />work is commenced for a period of 1E0 days. If you wish to prevent the permit from expiring <br />witliout documentation of completior., you may: <br />1) Request an inspection of work thac has occurred, to document continuing progress, <br />or 2) Request final inspection if the work is completed, <br />or 3) Submit a written request for a 180 day extension. <br />Please respond within 10 days. After that Cime the file will be sent Co our Records <br />Depanment for microfilming wichout final approval.
