<br />allowed to be canimlled by a single controlling device proviUed
<br />ihet they do nol inGude zones facing more than two adjacent
<br />cardinai orientations (i.e. north, east, south, west). Daylight
<br />zones underoverhead giazin{� more then 15 (eel from Ihe
<br />perimeter shall be canlrolled seperalely from dayllght zones

<br />1619.8,2 Automatic Time Switches: Automntic time swRches
<br />shall have e minimum 7 dey ckck end be capable of being set

<br />24 hours and then re�umes nortnatly scheduied operetions.
<br />Automatic time switches shell also have program back-up
<br />capabilities, which prevenl lhe loss of progrem end lime
<br />settings for at least 10 hours, if power is fntenupted.
<br />Automatb time swilches shali Incorporate an over-ride
<br />swttching device which:
<br />e) is readily eccessiWe;
<br />b) is lacated so Ihat a person using the devlce can see Na
<br />Ilghls or the eieas conimlled by the swilch, or so ihal the
<br />area beinB �Iluminated is ennuncia�ed; and
<br />c) Is manually operated;
<br />a) allows the Iighling to remain on for no rtrore then two hours
<br />when an overvride is (nitialetl; and
<br />e) conlrols an area not exceedinp 5,000 square fcet or 5
<br />percent of footprint for tootprims over 100,000 square Ieet,
<br />whichever is greater.
<br />1613.7 Commlasioning Requirementa: For lighting controls
<br />wh(ch inciude daylight oroccupant sensing aulomatic cantrols,
<br />automatic shut-ofl ccntrols. ;ccunancy s?r�sors, or automatic
<br />tlme switches, the lighting ccntrols shall be tested to ensure
<br />that contiol devices, compo�ienls, equipment and systems are
<br />calibra(ed, adjusted and oFerete in accaNance wflh approved
<br />plans and speGfications. Sequences of operallon shall be
<br />fundionally tested to ensare they operate in accordance with
<br />approved plans and so�.ufications. A complete repoh o( tesl
<br />procedures and rasutts shall be propared and fled wilh Ihe
<br />owner. Drawing notes shall require commissioning in
<br />accordance wilh this paragraph.
