The map also shows the location of the "Reference
Geotechnical Sites^ that we used.
2.0 SCOPE OF WORK
The SCOPE-OF-WORK includes providing; (1) an allowable bearing pressure for
the building foundation, (2) site grading recommendations, (3) fill recommendations, (4)
excavation of on-site soil recommendations, (5) pavement and floor slab
recommendations, (6) seismic design recommendations tor foundations, (7) soil friction
beriveen the foundation and the soil, and (8) storm water recommendations. The Work
also contains consultation with the design architect and other parties in the design
stage of the project.
3.0 SUMMARY
This section provides our salient findings without qualification of the data base,
depth or breadth of the analysis, or design assumpiions. The reader is cauiioned to
examine the remainder of the retort prior t making decisions.
The site geology offers no constraints to norma! design and consiruction
allernatives. With most of the soils showing a very coarse natisre, which could be
appropriately classified as "rock," some sper, ial con: deration is required (or the
excavation and compaction of the same. HoweRer, practices exist to adequately
excavate and compact the soil (rock) present at this site.
