The Uniform Building <br />Code provides that all permits expire by limitation if the work authorized by the permit is <br />suspended or abandoned at any time after work is commenced for a period of 180 days. If you <br />wish to prevent llie permit &om expiring without documentation of completion, you may: <br />I) Request an inspection of work that has occurred, to document continuing progress, <br />or 2) Request final inspection if the work is completed, <br />or 3) Submit a written request for a 180 day extension. <br />Please respond within 10 days.
