They at that time had no protection against the rain and all of the catch basins had no protection for the dirt entering the catch basins and the worker kind of blew me off about it. There were no straw bales or any mitigations on-site at that time and they were moving dirt with the backhoe to the side of the building. I went back by at 6:15 once they were completing for the night and at that time they were putting a filter on the main drain but never did anylhing about another drain where they moved a large amount of dirt. They had covered part of the excavation but throughout the veeekend it is going to be an issue with rain. Attached are pictures from Saturday at 8:30 am. I hope the city will investigate this issue and would appreciate hearing your results. I have been watching this construction as my bus lets me off there nighlly around 5:00 and walk by over the past 6 months or so. I am concerned it is being done by a permit and being looked at by the city. All I see in the window is application for a liquor license. Hopefully all of the contractors and subs are legit businesses.
