Cs:Pf.
Subject: Eiigh Pressure ewer Line
.ne purpose of this letter is tu confirm the discussion you had
with our Engineer, Mr. Castle, in your office on May 17, 1973. There were
four basic points to your discussion that must be settled upon bef.ore
further awtion =an be taken.
1. rhere will be a mutual exchange of easements which will allow
Shell to run a secar_r line over the school property and hook into the existing
high presure sewer line currently owned by the school. The other easement
will Le grinted to the school by She11 Oil Co. which will allow the school to
conine their existing high pressure line across She11's property f.rom the
pumping station to Bvergraen Way.
2. The school district cvill permit Shell to utilize the high
pressure line by allowing us to hook into it for handling Shell's sanitary
waste. No car wash water ;ill enter this sanitary sewer systm.
3. It is understood that the school district will be responsible
for all maintenance of the pumping system and the high pressure line running
from the pumping station to Evergreen Way.
4. It is necessary that a secondary, or back up pump, be installed,
to conform with the City of Everett's codes. This caill be done at the expense
of Shell Oil Co.
We anticipate the easement agreements wi11 be written and delivered
for your signatures within a few weeks. Upon your signatures these documents
will 6e sent to Shell's Head Office for their execution, whi:h should take
approximately 60 days.
Yours very truly,
/
, ., ,.
' %/' %LiII%l;.,
' J.
