The ends of these walls will be <br />located 10'-0" north of grid lines Q&� and 6'-8" south of grid lines � <br />&� <br />The structural requirenents for this revision are as follows: <br />1) Drill oversized holes, and grout #5 X 2'-6" dowels into the existing <br />16" wide X 10" deep footing with epoxy grout. New dowels shall <br />be iastalled at each end of the wal:l and 4'-0" o/c. <br />2) Vertical reinforcement shall be placed in the two end cells of <br />the walls, 4'0" o/c and matching the five existing dowels fran <br />the footing. <br />3) Horizontal reinforcement shall be 2-�`4 at 48" o/c, 2#5 lapped <br />with the benm seat reinforcement`at the roof. <br />4) The five renaining 6'-0" piers shall be constructed as indicated <br />on the drawings, except solid grout is not required. (Grout only <br />cells with reinforcement.) <br />It is my understanding that the question of the (I�A1 sill wall below <br />the windows to allow for the sidewalk slope between the different floor <br />levels will be worked out between Steve Miller of Jim Bakke's office, and you• <br />If you have any questions concerning this matter, please contact me. <br />Sincerely, <br />����� <br />Joseph J.
