DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT:
Started in 1988, this project was separated into three
phases, with the first phase having been completed. Thia
phase was developed in accordance with the requirements of
that time. Currently, phase two is being designed. Through
the SEPA process, the Department of Fisheries is requiring
an HPA. The HPA requirs additional detention standarda,
which are included herein.
The following celculations are divided into three sections,
with the first being the detention calculations per the
Department of Fisheries standards for phases II and 1II, the
aecond being the calculations done under the City's
' standards for phase II and the third were the calculations
done in 1988 for the entire site. The first section adds
the Department of Fisheries Standards to the detention
volume orieinally calculated for phase I. This total is the
new total for the entire site. This volume was reduced by
the detention volume that was installed during t;e first
• phase of the project. (More detention volume was inscalled
during the first phase than was required for that phase.)
The result is the ndditional detention volume that muat n:+w
be installed
The Department of Fisheries elsa requires biofiltration. No
new calculations were done for this, as biofiltration has
already been proposed for the site under the prior
calculations. Since the guidelines are similar to the
Department of Fiaheries, no revisions should be necessary..
