They dug up the dead man anchor <br /> f.or the N.W. corner signal pole to install a manhole. The dead <br /> man anchor was reinstalled incorrectly causing the signal head <br /> span wire to sag and reduce the signal head clearance from 16 <br /> ft. to 13-1/2 ft. , which is below legal limit (15 ft. ) . <br /> � Two signal heads were struck and damaged by trucks on August <br /> 29, 1985, and subsequently repaired by the City. The second of <br /> the two accidents involved Mr. Sparks whose windshield was <br /> cracked by signal light debris.
