All welding by certified welderc in accordance with the "Welding Handbook" by the American Welding Society. 4 . All welds 3/16" min. continuous fillet welds using AWS A5, E70XX electroded. Weld beam hanger assemblies with continuous 1/4-inch fillet welds on one side of each component . 5, Provide washers and lock washers on bolted oonnections . 6. All steel not embedded in concrete or mas�woycoatseofiheavye shop coat of an approved primer paint. Apply asphaltic paint to all steel exposed to earth. 7 . Furnish complete shopdrawings prior to fabrication. 8. Metal roof deck fabricatior to submit shopdrawings showing layouts, welding patterns at supports, perimeter and side laps, thus providing a diaphragm capable oF resisting lateral shear forces as shown. Provide steel headers at all openings through the deck to satisfactorily distribute the load to supporting members . I. MISCELLANEOUS: 1. Contractor to verify all dimensions in the field. 2. Verify size and location of all openings in floor, roof and walls ' with mechanical and elect'rical work. 3, Provide temporary bracing as required until all permanent , connections and stiffings have been installed. 4 .
