Sprinkler installation shall not <br /> begin without an approved and stamped set of plans from the Building DepaRment. Changes to plans must be approved by both thc Building and Fire <br /> Departmeats. <br /> Aboveground sprinkler piping shall be hydrostatically tested as established in NFPA Standard 13. <br /> Underground piping shall be hydrostatically tested and flushed as established in NFPA Standazd 24 <br /> for piivate fire mains. Hazardous Materials- In order to expedite plan review, a hazardous materials im�entory list shall be <br /> provided as a part of the submittal for building permit. The storage, handling and use of hazardous <br /> materials shall be in compliance with Article 80 of the Uniform Fire Code, 1997 Edition. <br /> 40. The storage, handling and use of flammable or combustible liquids shall comply with Article 79 of <br /> the Uniform Fire Code, 1997 Edition. <br /> 41. All Fre alarm control panels(FACY) and sprinkler valves sliall be in heated rooms or closets with <br /> standard man door access. L.ocations shall be approved by the Fire Marshal's Office. <br /> 42. Trash Collection -Dumpsters over 1.5 cubic yards capacity shall be located a minimum of 5 feet from <br /> the building [UFC 1103.2.2, 1997 Edition]. <br /> 43. The Wast�ington State Clean Air Act requires the use of all known, available, and reasonable means <br /> of controlling air pollution, including dust. Dust generated during construction activities can be <br /> controllcd by wetting those dust sources such as areas oF exposed soils, washing truck wheels <br /> before they leave the site, and installing and maintaini��g gravel construction entrances. <br /> Construction vehicle track-out is also a major dust source. Any evidence of track-out can uigger <br /> violations and fines from the Department of Ecology or the Puget Soand Clean Air Agency. <br /> 9 <br /> /! <br />
