Sp�cifically, the Everett Zoning Code requires that landscape <br /> requirements be met if the value of work to be done exceeds 35% of the assessed value <br /> of the existing structure (Section 35.030(B)). <br /> In order for the project to proceed, the planning department needs one of the following: <br /> 1. A landscape plan showing the landscaping being provided to City standards; or <br /> 2. Calculations showing that the value of the work does not exceed 35% of the <br /> assessed value of the existing structure. Th�value includes value of relocating <br /> existing building, value of new buildiny, �:��ue of si:e preparation, value of utilities <br /> and value of paving. Note that value is not synonymous with cost. For example, <br /> it is pnssible that you may obtain the new building at no cost, but the building <br /> itself has a certain market value that must be included. <br /> Feel free to call me if you have any questions.
