I was surpcised to learn that
Mr. Owa had not completed his site work. I could not verify this initially because the field
inspector assigned to that project has since :tired from the Ciry. Likewise, the Assistant Fire
Marshall who did the original review and -oval has also redred from the City. I have made
an on-site inspection this morning and fou, nat the following items have now been completed
to Public Works' satisfaction. I do not know when these items were in fact completed. Some
of the work appears to have been done quite recently, perhaps even since the code violation
citation was issued:
1. Driveway approach (installed with street improvement project)
2. Driveway apron (paved as required on plan-appeazs recently done)
3. Parking area for autos paved (still needs striping)
4. Fire hydrant (the existing hydrant at the project's driveway was determined
sufficient for this project, i.e, within 200 ft. Any future addidans to the park
may require an additional fire hydrs►t)
Z
