DETAILED Expenditure Required $ -0- Account Number(s): Amount Budgeted $_0_ -0- Additional Additional Required $_0_ -0- DETAILED SUMMARY STATEMENT: The Everett City Council has determined that the parking of large trucks or tractor—trailer vehicles in residential areas is detrimental to those neighborhoods. The determination of what makes a truck or tractor - trailer fall under the jurisdiction of this code is sometimes based on the weight of the vehicle. Because some vehicles fail to display their weights, this ordinance establishes the criteria to determine the weight of a vehicle that does not have the weight displayed. This ordinance also amends the weight of vehicles impacted by this ordinance from 10,000 pounds to 16,000, making the weight consistent with other parking enforcement laws RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Adopt an Ordinance relating to zoning regulations and determining the weight of parked vehicles, amending Section 39.170.C.
