ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project <br />entitled, "Holly Drive Pedestrian Improvements," Fund 303, <br />Program 058, to accumulate all costs for the improvement <br />project and to repeal Ordinance No. 2825-05. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Everett is committed to a planned street and pedestrian safety <br />improvement program; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Everett has identified the need and received Federal and State <br />grants for pedestrian improvements along Holly Drive from 100`h Street S.W. to Airport <br />Road; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br />Section 1: <br />A special improvement project is hereby established as Fund 303, Program 058, entitled, <br />"Holly Drive Pedestrian Improvements," to accumulate all costs for the improvement <br />project and to repeal Ordinance No. 2825-05. <br />Section 2: <br />Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund <br />303, Program 058, for the improvement project. <br />Section 3: <br />Authorization is hereby granted for the "Engineering/Public Services Director," under <br />direction of the Mayor, to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks <br />and doing all things to accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. <br />Section 4: <br />The sum of $3,227,163.00 is hereby appropriated to Fund 303, Program 058, "Holly <br />Drive Pedestrian Improvements," as follows: <br />A. Estimated Project Costs <br />Design and Right -of -Way $ 421,594 <br />Construction 2,805,569 <br />Total Estimated Cost <br />12 <br />$J 2273163 <br />
