Total Population <br />In 1990, the total population for the Times Square Neighborhood was 25,65 1, <br />which was slightly higher than the previous decade. The racial characteristics are <br />depicted below. In a borough <br />In which less than 10% of the units were vacant, 20.5% were vacant in Times <br />Square. <br />The size of housing units within the six census tracts is smaller than elsewhere <br />in the borough.
