These grants are intended to <br />supplement the local jurisdiction's emergency management operating budget in an effort to enhance their <br />emergency management program. <br />The City's EMPG grant award is $40, 426 with the requirement of a local match already satisfied by our <br />emergency management operating budget. The award funds from this contract will be used to enhance the <br />City of Everett Emergency Management Program with the purchase of goods, services and special' EOC <br />equipment. <br />RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br />Authorize the Mayor to sign the agreement between the City of Everett and the WA State Military <br />Department to receive funding from the Emergency Management Performance Grant. 59 <br />
