These grants are intended to supplement the local jurisdiction's emergency management operating budget in an effort to enhance their emergency management program. The City's EMPG grant award is $40, 426 with the requirement of a local match already satisfied by our emergency management operating budget. The award funds from this contract will be used to enhance the City of Everett Emergency Management Program with the purchase of goods, services and special' EOC equipment. RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign the agreement between the City of Everett and the WA State Military Department to receive funding from the Emergency Management Performance Grant. 59
