AutoZone management will attempt to prevent any material or waste from <br /> reaching drains or soil using absorbent to dike or contain the movement of the <br /> material. The Safety Dept. will be contacted immediately for the proper disposal <br /> methods or instructions. (If after hours, contact 3E at 800-360-3220.) They will <br /> provide information on how to dispose �f the spill properly. The manager will <br /> notify local authorities, including the fire department and other emergency <br /> agencies, as needed. NOTE: Once again AutoZoners will evacuate the <br /> building if any vapors, strange odor, or any extreme medical condition is <br /> experienced <br /> Store evacuation <br /> In the event that the store needs to be evacuated due to a fire, chemical spill or <br /> other emergency situation, the manager will direct everyone out of the store and <br /> to the assembly area. The evacuation routes are on the Emergency Acti�n Plan <br /> procedure diagram posted in the store's office. The manager will call the <br /> appropriate emergency agencies and account for all AutoZoners in the assembly <br /> area. <br /> 3E Company— Contracted Emergency Support Services <br /> 3E provides AutoZone with emergency response information. 3E has all AutoZone <br /> product MSDSs on file. If an emergency happens, 3E will provide inforrrretion <br /> about first-aid procedures, medical treatment, evacua6on procsdures, personal <br /> protective equipment and fire-fighting procedures. They'll also contact the Store <br /> Support Center (SSC) to report the incident. 3E's emergency contact iwrt�ber is <br /> (800� 360-3220. <br /> Alarm Central Station <br /> Alarm Central Station is AutoZone's in-house monitoring system that reports all <br /> emergencies after hours. Alarm Central �tation is located in the SSC, and the <br /> emergency contact number is (800) 313-9693. <br /> AutoZoner training <br /> All AutoZoners participate in the AutoZone Safety Specialist Program. They're <br /> trained about AutoZone's commitment to safety policies and programs. Each <br /> AutoZoner receives training in hazard communication, safety equipment, recycling <br /> programs, hazardous situations, safe-lifting techniques, first aid and emergency <br /> procedures. <br /> AutoZoners are initially trained as new hires and participate in refresher training <br /> annually.
